Overview
Amerita is a leading provider of Specialty Infusion services focused on providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital. As one of the most respected Specialty Infusion providers in America, we service thousands of patients nationwide through our growing network of branches and healthcare professionals.
The Registered Dietitian (RD / RDN) is responsible for implementing an individualized nutritional care plan for each patient. This role is also responsible for developing or obtaining patient nutrition educations materials. The Registered Dietitian counsels the patient, family, significant other or caregiver on prescribed diet, parenteral nutrition, and / or enteral nutrition and monitors adherence and response to therapy.
This is a hybrid position, based out of your home office but travels to 3 branches working with clients receiving parenteral nutrition.
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 30am - 5 : 30 pm
We are looking for a Registered Dietitian with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including experience in Nutrition Support
Must be Registered in accordance with the Commission on Dietetics
Must be Licensed in AZ
Certified Nutrition Support Clinician, preferred

Responsibilities
Co Develops, implements and monitors the clinical management of parenteral and enteral patients as part of the Nutrition Support TeamMakes recommendations for nutrition intervention when necessaryReviews patient medical history, anthropometrics and pertinent lab values to assess home nutrition support protocols and insurance payer requirementsCounsel patients and caregivers on home enteral and parenteral nutrition therapy. Assesses patients’ understanding of and compliance with prescribed diet principlesEnsure continuity of care with patient’s physician, nurses and nutrition support teams to provide high quality patient centered careParticipate in Performance Improvement Program and ACHC accreditationIdentifies and promotes nutrition program services to clinical and professional referral base and performs necessary in-service educationSupervisory Responsibility : NoQualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nutrition or related fieldRegistered Dietitian with license to practice in assigned state(s); Certified Nutrition Support Clinician preferredMinimum of two (2) years of clinical experience required.Must have strong communication skills and organizational skillsHigh level of self-motivation, initiative, flexibility and ability to work under pressureTo perform this role will require constant sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching and typing on a keyboard with fingers. The physical requirements will be the ability to push / pull and lift / carry 10-30 lbs
