Assistant Project Manager - Land Development

Job Description

Harper Harrison is supporting a leading land development consultancy in finding a Assistant Project Manager / Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their office in Baltimore County, Maryland.

This is an opportunity to work on high-profile commercial and residential projects across the Mid-Atlantic, supporting clients in bringing major developments from concept to completion. You’ll gain exposure to financial management, client interaction, technical leadership, and project delivery within a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and contribute to the design of site development projects across commercial, residential, and institutional markets
• Prepare and review site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater plans using Civil 3D
• Support project financials, including contracts, proposals, and budget management
• Attend and present at planning and zoning board meetings
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers
• Manage projects from initial scoping through closeout, coordinating with clients and review agencies
