Pay : $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

Job description :

Note : This position requires employees to work on a hybrid schedule at our clients Baltimore office (34 days per week on-site, with flexibility to be in the office more frequently based on business needs).

Note : The qualified candidate for this position must have at least 5 years of experience in Trusts & Estates, with strong knowledge of Maryland probate administration.

Job Description

  • Handle trusts and estates administration with minimal supervision
  • Draft probate and trust-related documents and filings in Maryland courts
  • Manage case files, track deadlines, and coordinate estate planning documents
  • Communicate directly with clients, beneficiaries, and financial institutions
  • Assist with preparation of estate tax returns and related documents
  • Work closely with attorneys in Baltimore and occasionally support other offices
  • Utilize trust and estate software such as GEMs, OneSource Estate & Trust, or CCH ProSystems
  • Meet annual paralegal billable target of 1,300 hours

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in trusts and estates (Maryland experience required)
  • Paralegal certificate preferred; high school diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency with probate and trust administration in Maryland courts
  • Familiarity with estate and trust software (GEMs, OneSource, CCH ProSystems)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
