MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN & GROUNDSKEEPER I
Compensation : $16.30 hourly ($33,904.00 annually) - $20.05 hourly ($41,704 annually).
- Starting wage for this position will be $16.30 per hour.
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt
Closing Date / Time : This position is considered open until filled
DEFINITION
Under direct or general supervision, performs unskilled and semiskilled craftwork in the maintenance and repair of AHA-owned properties; completes work orders for repairs in units, unit turn overs to prepare for new tenants, and outdoor maintenance and grounds work on buildings, landscaped areas, parking lots, and related facilities; performs routine preventive electrical and plumbing maintenance work; and maintains maintenance and repair inventory levels.

Ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures and technical manuals. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from vendors, contractors, supervisors, co- workers, residents, and city / county agencies.
Preferred :
Bi-lingual (English / Spanish)
Ability to legally drive and reliable transportation are requirements of this position.
