Compensation
Salary : $60,000–$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities of the Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster :
Conduct detailed investigations to determine claim compensability using all relevant data sources
Develop and execute effective claim resolution strategies in consultation with management
Facilitate safe and timely return-to-work programs and coordinate appropriate medical care
Apply medical and regulatory knowledge to evaluate treatment plans and case progress
Negotiate disputed claims and provide support for minor litigated cases
Ensure compliance with Claims Quality Guidelines, regulatory standards, and licensing requirements
Set accurate reserves, issue timely benefit payments, and manage projected future exposures
Identify and proactively address potential risks, including Medicare-related considerations
Qualifications of the Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster :
Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of direct workers’ compensation claims experience
Solid understanding of workers’ compensation laws, claim procedures, and medical treatment protocols
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management systems
Excellent communication, negotiation, and critical-thinking skills
Empathetic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused approach to claims handling
Reliable transportation for occasional local assignments
