Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our organization as an Account Executive. This role will be crucial for driving revenue growth and enhancing engagement within our community of Manufacturer, Associate Manufacturer, Associate Services, and Manufacturer Representative companies at ISSA. The successful candidate will collaborate with existing members and forge new industry relationships to generate revenue opportunities through ISSA's signature programs. The ideal candidate is customer-centric, self-motivated, results-driven, with the innate ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities and Core Products
The role involves selling and engaging with current and new customers in the following areas :
- Membership Member Engagement, Recruitment, and Retention
- Manage and grow relationships with existing stakeholders, including members, partners, and industry leaders.
- Develop strategies with the Vice President of Business Development Supply Chain to enhance member engagement and drive revenue.
- Design and manage programs with the product development and events team to generate additional revenue.
- Communicate regularly with members to gather feedback, address concerns, and update on initiatives.
- Increase participation and revenue in ISSA Signature Programs, including Advocacy, ISSA Charities, Media, Education / Training, and Healthcare.
- Utilize platforms like Salesforce, Fonteva, and Magazine Manager to support activities and revenue opportunities.
- New Business Development
- Lead membership recruitment efforts for prospective members.
- Expand the number of Manufacturer, Associate Manufacturer, Associate Services, and Manufacturer Representative members.
- Engage with key contacts to identify revenue opportunities within association activities, including Advocacy, ISSA Charities, Media, Education / Training, and Healthcare.
- Media Sales
- Engage with existing customers and prospects to generate revenue for ISSA's media brands such as ISSA Today, CMM, Cleanfax, and INCLEAN magazines.
- Maintain a 90% retention rate of advertisers and grow the business by at least 10% annually.
- Develop tailored advertising and sponsorship solutions to meet client needs.
- Manage advertising fulfillment and monitor campaign performance, providing detailed reports.
Additional responsibilities include selling sponsorships and event-related products, effectively communicating via presentations, proposals, CRM, representing ISSA at industry events, and traveling as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, with 2+ years of successful sales experience, ideally in event, media, nonprofit, or B2B environments.Experience with selling events, media, and sponsorships is preferred.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Independent work ethic and team collaboration skills.Strategic, consultative sales approach and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of Salesforce, Magazine Manager, and sales tools is a plus.Customer-centric mindset and excellent customer service skills.Compensation
$50,000 - $60,000 yearly salary.
