Tax Manager - Construction Industry expert (cpa firm) REMOTE

CPA firm seeking a Tax Manager to join our Construction Industry practice. This position can be REMOTE or located in our NY or NJ office. Responsibilities :

• Manage client service relationships
• Conduct tax planning
• Oversee all aspects of tax compliance for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and estates
• Maintain strong client relations and cross-sell services within the assigned group of clients
• Work closely with partners, managers, and staff to integrate practice development skills into a team approach to client service and new business development
• Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on tax projects
• Advise clients with recommendations on business and process improvements and serve as a business advisor to clients Qualifications :
• CPA
• Experience with a public accounting firm or large law firm
• Excellent analytical, technical and tax accounting / technology skills with proficiency in US GAAP and tax compliance and consulting
• Experience training and developing staff
• Subject matter expert in the Construction Industry
