Dental Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Support Specialist who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a busy, dynamic environment. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our patients and dental team, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience. Key Responsibilities :

Assist during a range of dental treatment procedures

Take and process dental X-rays

Prepare and clean treatment areas post-procedure

Facilitate patient handoffs and manage patient flow efficiently

Implement infection control protocols, including sterilization of tools

Provide education to patients on best practices for oral hygiene

Complete denture soft relines and create temporary crowns

Conduct quality impressions and gather bite registrations

Perform digital intraoral scans

Assist with patient charting under the direction of doctors

Undertake various administrative tasks as required

Work collaboratively with the dental team to enhance patient satisfaction

Essential Qualifications :

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Ability to work effectively as part of a dental care team

High school diploma or equivalent

Certification from the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB)
