BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

MINIMAL REQUIREMENTS / JOB PERFORMANCE :

• Possess skills to organize, plan and implement assigned duties.
• Possess strong assessment skills, sound judgment, discretion, stability and dependability.
• Ability to address tenant work-order requests, and exhibit initiative in problem solving.
• Have an understanding in construction, and minimal plumbing, electrical and HVAC.
• Ability to communicate and provide services in a professional manner with diverse populations.
• Exhibit sensitivity to low-income and diverse populations.
• Operate large body pick-up truck for transportation.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers and supervisor.
• Ability to report to work at assigned hours of duty and provide assistance for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
• Ability to perform manual labor and cleaning tasks.
