Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the High Acuity Float Pool specializing in ICU.

This role requires a strong background in critical care nursing.

The nurse will provide care for patients across various units including critical care, surgical, oncology, telemetry, and progressive care.

Assignments will vary based on patient acuity with typical ratios of 1-2 patients, and up to 3 for lower acuity cases.

Required skills include experience with titratable drips such as epinephrine, norepinephrine, dobutamine, propofol, esmolol, hydromorphone, and midazolam.

Our team supports self-scheduling for shifts, allowing for flexibility in work-life balance.

Weekend shifts are required, and holiday availability is necessary.

Charge nurses will create assignments daily based on patient needs and census.

Registered Nurses will be responsible for reading cardiac strips, supported by monitoring technicians.

We emphasize teamwork and collaboration in providing high-quality patient care.

Candidates must possess the ability to handle high-pressure situations with competence and compassion.
