Title : Surgical Technologist General OR

Location : Hyannis MA 02601

Duration : 13 Weeks

Schedule : 40 hrs / week Rotating 8-hr shifts (7 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM)

Pay Rate : $40 $50 / hr

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons and nurses in various surgical procedures ensuring a safe sterile and efficient OR environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare OR with instruments equipment and sterile supplies.

Maintain aseptic technique and infection control per AORN standards.

Perform scrub duties across surgical specialties.

Pass instruments assist with retractors sutures and specimen handling.

Operate and maintain surgical and sterilization equipment.

Assist with dressings patient positioning and transport.

Manage room turnover and restock supplies.

Support surgeon preferences and ensure equipment readiness.

Participate in staff training meetings and continuing education.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.

National Certification (NBSTSA) within 12 months of graduation.

Current BLS required.

Strong orthopedic experience preferred.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
