PART-TIME SCHOOL RESOURCE / D.A.R.E. POLICE OFFICER

The Paynesville Police Department is seeking a hardworking, dedicated, value-adding applicant who is looking to make a difference and join our growing community. The officer in this position would perform a wide variety of responsibilities from teaching law related educational courses in conjunction with teachers on safety, police careers and criminal law. The officer is responsible for establishing a positive police presence in and around the schools, provide for a safe, secure learning environment and to bridge the gap between law enforcement and youth.

The department has put a strong emphasis on family and support of its officers. Benefits include :

  • Individualized training
  • $1.50 per hour shift differential
  • Prorated holiday pay
  • Pay Rate :

2025 : $31.48 to $38.69 per hour

2026 : $33.06 to $40.62 per hour

2027 : $34.71 to $42.65 per hour

Consideration will be given for a higher Step based on experience.
