• Provide advanced nursing care to pediatric patients with severe and complex medical conditions, including respiratory failure, sepsis, trauma, and post-operative care following major surgeries.\n
• Administer medications, blood products, and advanced therapies as prescribed, following strict protocols and ensuring patient safety.\n
• Work closely with pediatric intensivists, surgeons, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.\n
• Act quickly and efficiently in emergencies, using advanced life support skills to stabilize critically ill patients.\n
• Operate and troubleshoot complex medical equipment such as ventilators, ECMO machines, and infusion pumps, ensuring their proper use and maintenance.\n
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain the highest standard of care in the PICU.\n\nCandidate requirements\n
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.\n
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pediatric or intensive care setting is required; PICU experience is preferred.\n
