Tech Lead, Web Core Product & Chrome Extension - Modesto, USA

The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning.

Speechify's text-to-speech products turn PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio to help people read faster, read more, and remember more. Our products include a web app, Chrome Extension, iOS app, Android app, and Mac app. Speechify has no office and operates in a 100% distributed setting with colleagues worldwide.

This is a key role for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, is passionate about building great user experiences, and can make product decisions that delight users. What Youell Do

  • Actively ship production code to the web products
  • Work closely with your dedicated product team
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap

  • Experience. You\'ve built and shipped products that have scaled to thousands or millions of users

  • Focus. We\'re a high-growth startup with a busy, remote team. You know how and when to engage or be heads down
  • Collaboration. You know how to inspire, work with, and negotiate with opinionated designers, marketers, and PMs
  • Tech Stack : Vanilla JS, ReactJS, Redux, Firebase, Typescript

    • Salary

    The United States Based salary range for this role is 140,000-200,000 USD / Year + Bonus + Stock depending on experience
