Job descriptionBachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. Minimum of 7 years sales and / or sales and / or operations management experience. Portable sanitation and temporary fence experience preferred. Proficiency with Salesforce and MS Office (Word and Excel). Strong sales and customer service skills. Understanding of business accounting principles and P&L profitability; business acumen. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to train, motivate and influence all levels of the sales / management organization. Strong leadership, strategic thinking and collaboration skills. Up to 50% overnight travel. Responsibilities
- Works with Field Sales to discover projects related to a specific product or vertical.
- Utilizes Salesforce to enter, track, and close related project opportunities.
- Attends pre-bid meetings, representing United Rentals Reliable Onsite Services with contractors bidding work.
- Attends pre-construction meetings to communicate project details and hand off to Operations Management.
- Designs solutions with support from Branch Operations and Field Sales.
- Submittal of system solutions to bidding contractors.
- Drives close-win opportunities in Construction / Infrastructure markets.
- Manages change order submittals.
- Mentors Outside Sales Reps on ROS product offerings in specific verticals.
- Acts as liaison between the customer and operations.
Requirements
This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
