Overview

Job Title : Copilot User Experience Specialist

Clearance Required : Public Trust - Federal Client requires US Citizenship

Work Location : Remote, Arlington, VA

Alpha Omega is seeking a proactive Copilot User Experience Specialist to join our team. The candidate will assist individuals and teams understand and effectively use Microsoft Copilot to boost productivity, streamline workflows, and foster innovation. Specializes in helping end users and citizen developers with prompt writing and integrating AI into business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver training sessions, workshops, and online resources for various user groups on how to effectively use Copilot and other AI tools.
  • Design and teach techniques for writing clear, concise, and contextually relevant prompts to get the desired results from Copilot.
  • Develop customized training materials, including lesson plans, recorded content, and hands-on exercises.
  • Be a subject matter expert in areas of prompt engineering, agent context, grounded knowledge, and business process integration.
  • Promote AI adoption by showcasing real-world use cases and aligning training with business goals.
  • Identify and disseminate best practices for using Copilot across different applications and scenarios.
  • Address user questions and issues related to prompting and Copilot functionality.
  • Evaluate the impact of training programs and make adjustments to improve user adoption and satisfaction.
  • Continuously research and learn about the latest developments in AI and prompting techniques to keep training materials relevant and effective.
  • Assist Copilot Governance Lead as needed and act as a backup in their absence.

Required Qualifications

Education :

  • BA / BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar degree.
  • Experience / Skills :

  • Federal Client requires US citizenship.
  • Greater than 5 years of specific training support experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and how Copilot integrates with them.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts, including prompt engineering, large language models, grounded knowledge, and generative AI.
  • Excellent communication and instructional skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences.
  • Background in instructional design, computer science, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot user issues and provide helpful solutions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Certification

  • Microsoft PL-900 Certification required prior to start date.
  • Salary and Benefits

    The likely salary range for this position is $117,020 - $150,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that could fall outside of this range.
