Summary :
We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in data engineering, data management, analytics, and reporting to join our team. This multifaceted role integrates core responsibilities in data governance, portfolio analysis, and performance reporting with advanced research and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic initiatives across asset management and operational reporting by transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, a collaborative approach, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build and maintain data pipelines to integrate property, market, and financial data from systems including YARDI and ARGUS, to ensure clean, reliable data for analytics and reporting.
- Design and implement advanced reporting solutions and dashboards, leveraging business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights for investment and operational decisions.
- Analyze large datasets to identify market trends, risks, and investment opportunities.
- Prepare performance reports, and recommendations to senior management, investment committees, and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with acquisitions, asset management, and property management teams to optimize portfolio performance and support data-driven investment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and industry best practices in data governance, security, and reporting.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.3+ years of experience in real estate private equity, acquisitions, asset management, financial planning, accounting, or a related analytical role.Demonstrated expertise in data management, analytics, and reporting.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to diverse audiences.Meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Preferred Skills :
Experience implementing data modeling techniques (e.g. star schema, snowflake schema) to structure data for efficient querying and reporting performance.Strong proficiency in SQL and database principles for querying, transforming, and validating data across multiple systems to support analytics, reporting, and data pipeline development.Experience designing, building, and maintaining a data warehouse to support business intelligence platforms such as Tableau and Power BI.Familiarity with predictive analytics, risk modeling, and portfolio optimization.Previous involvement in the integration or migration of real estate data systems.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Commercial Real Estate across one or more of industrial, multifamily, retail, or office property types. This preference is not a requirement.A basic familiarity with financial modeling tools such as Excel and Argus is preferred. While deep expertise is not required, the ability to navigate and understand detailed financial models will be beneficial in supporting portfolio analysis and reporting tasks.
