Job Description

Job Title : Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – Day Shift

Location : Sarasota, FL

Hours : Monday – Friday, 9 : 00 am – 6 : 00 pm (No Weekends)

Pay : $24 / hr – $42 / hr (based on experience)

Sign-On Bonus : $2,000 (Paid in $500 increments every 3 months)

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team in Sarasota, FL. This position offers a Monday – Friday day shift, with no weekends required, providing a great work-life balance. Both experienced candidates and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine laboratory tests in various areas (hematology, microbiology, chemistry, etc.)
  • Ensure accurate and timely results for diagnostic procedures
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Document and maintain accurate records of test results
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate results

Qualifications :

  • Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification (or eligible)
  • Current Florida Laboratory License (required)
  • Experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to follow established protocols and procedures
