Job Title : Temporary Paralegal / Contract Management Specialist
Location : Thousand Oaks
Type : Temporary Assignment - Covering a Leave
Overview :
Seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Paralegal / Contract Management Specialist to support our legal and business operations. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in contracts and corporate legal support who can thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Contract Lifecycle Management
Draft, review, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor contracts, supply chain agreements, and service-level agreements.
Maintain and update contract templates and clause libraries in line with legal and business standards.
Track contract status, renewals, expirations, and obligations using contract management systems.
Legal Support & Coordination
Assist attorneys with legal documents, research, and case file organization.
Partner with procurement, sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure contract compliance and timely execution.
Support cross-border legal matters by coordinating with international teams and external counsel.
Process Optimization & Compliance
Contribute to the implementation and improvement of contract review processes and legal workflows.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management guidelines.
Assist with audits, reporting, and legal operations governance.
Knowledge Management
Maintain accurate and organized legal records and databases.
Provide training and guidance to business teams on contract procedures and legal best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
3+ years of experience in a legal or contract management role, ideally within a multinational organization.
Strong knowledge of contract law and legal terminology.
Proficiency with contract management software (e.g., Ironclad, Coupa, DocuSign CLM, SharePoint).
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, global setting.
