Private Client Banking Management Team Member
Serves as a member of the Private Client Banking management team that develops short and long term goals and initiatives to drive strategic growth. Develops and ensures implementation of tactics to achieve strategic objectives. Works with PCG leadership and credit to develop new credit product solutions as appropriate to assist PCG in growth of UHNW space. Effectively manages personnel, plans, processes and programs to ensure the attainment of current and future objectives, efficiency, growth, risk tolerance, development and administration of the division. Implements change as needed. Manages the Tailored loan officers to deliver growth through proactive communication with FAs and their clients. Works with Credit team to develop loan underwriting guidelines and business cases for future products and business initiatives. Works with key stakeholders and business partners to successfully grow the Structured Lending Business. Oversees the loan approval process, loan renewals and portfolio servicing. Delivers credit strategy and solutions to clients to secure business. Works closely with senior management to achieve organizational objectives. Ensures adequate internal controls and procedures are followed. Performs human resources activities that include administering progressive discipline policies, evaluating performance, approving recruitment of new or replacement positions, approving training and development recommendations, and providing appropriate developmental resources. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge of cash flow credit skills and related market influences (profiling, structuring, underwriting, pricing, delivery). High Net Worth credit landscape; familiarity with competition from a pricing and structure standpoint. Company's working structure, policies, mission, and strategies. Financial services and products. Federal and State lending laws.
Skill in building appropriate gearing ratios for the level of staff to support growth and maintain quality of the portfolio. Being analytical and forward thinking with a demonstrated track record of successfully developing and implementing strategic plans calling for substantial loan growth. Cultivating and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels of the organization. Excellent sales and marketing / presentation skills. Analyzing financial information. Reporting accounting data and information. Preparing management reports. Interpreting and applying policies and procedures. Establishing departmental objectives. Promoting effective coordination between business unit and other functional areas. Identifying trends and implementing appropriate corrective action. Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, and databases.
Ability to analyze complex credit risks; size, price and structure financial solutions for clients that meet the strategic objectives. Recruit and retain the appropriate level of talent. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels, including senior management. Partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives. Lead meetings and contribute to team efforts by ensuring all relevant information is included in the outcomes. Perform human resource management activities.
