What We Offer

Novant Health Medical Group's Heart and Vascular Institute - Elizabeth Surgery is looking for a compassionate, caring Cardiac Surgery Advanced Practice Provider in our Charlotte Region to provide primary health care and perform selective medical services under the direction of practice physicians.

What You'll Do

  • Hours : 8-5p Mon-Fri. Call responsibilities include one night / week and one weekend / month.
  • Supporting Locations : Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. No travel required.

What We're Looking For

Education : Master’s Degree required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program required. RNFA required for NP candidates.

Experience : One to three years of experience as a Surgical Advanced Practice Provider required; one to three years of endoscopic vein harvesting experience preferred.

Licensure / Certification / Registration : Current PA license in appropriate state required. NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry required. ACLS (if infusion center or cardiac specialty) required.

Additional Skills Required : Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills.
