Job Details

1. Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SMC) Expertise

Strong hands-on Salesforce Platform knowledge

Configuration, automation, customer journey design (Journey Builder, Automation Studio)

SQL activities inside Marketing Cloud

2. Enterprise Integration Experience

Proven background integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with large-scale enterprise systems (ideally in healthcare, eligibility, or enrollment systems).

Building & managing APIs, middleware, connectors to move data between Salesforce and external systems.

3. Data Management

Deep experience with Salesforce data extensions & relational data models

Skilled in reconciliation processes (across CalHEERS, carrier files, CMS data feeds, etc.)

Strong SQL for querying & reporting

4. Security & Compliance

Knowledge of HIPAA, PII, and state security standards

Experience designing solutions in government or regulated industries (healthcare, insurance, public sector ideal).

5. Technical Architecture & Oversight

Ability to act as a bridge between Marketing Cloud and enterprise dev teams

Strong technical architecture background (SDLC, governance, system design reviews)

Aligning solutions with data governance & CalHEERS standards

Ideal Background

8–10+ years total IT experience, with at least 5+ years Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Previous work in healthcare, government, or eligibility / enrollment systems is a huge plus

Salesforce certifications (Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Developer, Salesforce Architect) are strong differentiators

Must be able to function as both hands-on and architectural lead
