About the Role

We’re seeking a Head of Technical Operations to build and run the operational foundation of the company. You will be responsible for whatever is required to keep a deeply technical organization moving fast — spanning procurement, vendor coordination, project execution, facilities, finance interfaces, compliance, and company-wide operational structure. This is a highly entrepreneurial role for someone who can create order from ambiguity, anticipate operational needs before they arise, and support the entire engineering and AI organization as it scales.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain the operational systems that support a rapidly evolving engineering and research organization — across procurement, vendors, facilities, budgeting interfaces, and general operations.

Coordinate cross-functional execution, ensuring teams have the resources, information, and structure they need to move quickly.

Establish lightweight, scalable processes for tracking, compliance, documentation, and organizational planning.

Serve as a flexible problem-solver across the company — stepping into whatever operational gaps arise across finance, legal, logistics, recruiting support, and external relations.

Qualifications

Experience owning broad operations in a deep‑tech, engineering, robotics, or research-driven environment.

Strong systems‑thinking and organizational instincts; able to manage complex, ambiguous, cross‑team workflows.

Comfortable wearing many hats — from procurement to project planning to facilities to compliance — and switching between strategic and tactical work.

Clear communicator and cross-functional collaborator who thrives in fast-moving, high-agency environments.
