Overview
Meta is seeking an Experience Interaction / UX Sound Designer to join our experience Creative Audio team. Our mission is to create meaningful experiences that enhance human connection through the power of audio. Your focus will be on defining audio and haptics experiences for Meta’s Family of Apps (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Messenger, Threads and MetaAI). You will partner with a team of Interaction Sound Designers who are responsible for helping build brand recognition, and enhance the overall brand experiences across all of our products. As an Interaction Sound Designer, you\'ll be part of a team of highly skilled creatives dedicated to crafting unique audio experiences. You\'ll have access to state-of-the-art recording facilities at our internal studios. The role combines functional sound design thinking and execution with proven experience breaking new ground, including new and virtual mediums. You will be involved in all aspects of the sound design process, from concept to iteration and refinement, to preparing and implementing assets, to testing performance and approving designs for public release. In this role you\'ll provide creative feedback and work closely with cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with partners across multiple areas of focus and disciplines to define the sonic landscape of a wide range of software and hardware experiences.
