Travel Nursing Job Details

  • Location : Sioux Falls, SD (zip 57105) – South Dakota nursing jobs
  • Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center, Operating Room
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 25 / 2025 – End : 1 / 24 / 2026)
  • Shifts : 10-hour day shifts, every 4th weekend; call shifts required
  • Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week
  • Shift Details : 3-4 late / flex shifts per 4-week schedule, 1-4 overnight call shifts per week, 1 late shift per week (8 : 30am-7 : 00pm or 10 : 30am-9 : 00pm)
  • Dress Code : Ceil blue scrubs provided; must follow surgical dress code
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,380 - $2,550

    • Registered Nurse Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (BSN required)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
  • Trauma Level I nursing experience required
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and across all surgical specialties
  • EPIC charting experience preferred

    • OR RN Responsibilities

  • Circulate in a single OR, delivering direct patient care during surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team
  • Participate in scheduled call shifts and late / flex shifts
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and hospital protocols
  • Complete unit orientation within one week, including hospital charting and ESAR privileges
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records
