Description:
The Outbound Transfer Lead coordinates and leads the activities of the associates who are picking/packing and shipping of transfer orders from a multi-channel fulfillment center made up of B2B and B2C customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the activities of the outbound team with the activities of the sales department to ensure product is distributed accurately and on time to other RANDYS locations.
- Prepare product for shipment, create and or generate proper documents for domestic shipping.
- Establish and maintain operational procedures promoting acceptable accuracy of transfer fulfillment.
- Conduct root cause analysis on transfer issues.
- Responsible for achieving or exceeding functional area KPI’s.
- Ensure that the outbound team meets all mandated safety requirements and Company policies and procedures.
- Ability to actively listen, seeks information, and asks questions to ensure the understanding of the underlying concerns of others.
- Ability to understand issues and make systematic and rational judgments based on relevant information.
- Ability to oversee other warehouse functions as needed, such as receiving and inventory control.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Requirements:
Preferred Education and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience leading a production focused fulfillment team.
- 2+ years Microsoft ERP/CRM.
- Computer proficiency including MS Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Experience with Connect Ship and generating BOLs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
