Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

Soliant has partnered with a client in Spartanburg, SC to interview Speech-Language Pathologists who specialize in Auditory Verbal Therapy.

This is a full-time position; applicants will be working with around 20 deaf or hard-of-hearing students, and 10 students who need interventions in language and articulation.

Start date : August 20th 2018

End date : May 31st 2019

In order to provide services in South Carolina schools, SLPs must be eligible for a license from the South Carolina Board of Examiners; they may also need a teacher credential to work with deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

Day-to-day duties include :

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of students' speech, auditory and language development; diagnose students with speech / language impediments
• Develop Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals in consultation with district SLPs
• Provide speech-language therapy and auditory verbal therapy, document student progress, and plete paperwork pertinent to the provision of services, or to Medicaid billing
• Participate in IEP meetings, and municating speech and language goals to student care-givers

This position will involve some travel between buildings.
