Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Summary : Join a dynamic and collaborative team on a 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit caring for a diverse patient population, including Cardiac, Diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal, General Surgery, and Orthopedics. We’re looking for a skilled and adaptable Travel Med-Surg / Tele RN to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced acute care environment. Key Responsibilities : Provide direct nursing care to patients on a telemetry-capable Med-Surg unit Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition Manage insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips confidently Document all care accurately in the electronic medical record system Flex to care for IMCU-level patients as needed based on census Work rotating weekends and holidays (required) No on-call requirement Patient Population Includes : Cardiac and telemetry Diabetes management CHF, COPD, and renal patients General surgical and orthopedic post-ops Requirements : Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg / Tele experience ACLS and BLS – Required CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) – Required Must be proficient in managing Insulin, Heparin, and Lasix drips Must be comfortable flexing to IMCU-level patients Job Summary : Join a dynamic and collaborative team on a 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit caring for a diverse patient population, including Cardiac, Diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal, General Surgery, and Orthopedics.
