Position Overview
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the sterile surgical environment
- Set up surgical instruments and equipment prior to procedures
- Pass instruments and supplies during operations in an accurate, efficient manner
- Assist with counts of sponges, instruments, and sharps
- Support room turnover and post-op cleanup processes
- Adhere to safety, infection prevention, and sterile technique standards
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, effective procedures
