As an Avionics / Radio Technician , you’ll build, install, and test electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies for aircraft systems in a hands-on, developmental role where precision, teamwork, and quality truly matter.
What You’ll Do as an Avionics technician :
- Build and install electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies for aircraft systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams for precision installations.
- Install and service instrument panels, antennas, lighting systems, and batteries.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on avionics components using meters and diagnostic tools.
- Collaborate with Avionics and Radio Mechanics to ensure safe, reliable aircraft systems.
- Modify and repair equipment according to engineering drawings and FAA standards.
What We’re Looking For in the Avionics Technician :
Experience in avionics or electrical assembly (aerospace preferred).Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical diagrams.Proficiency with soldering tools, crimpers, voltmeters, and test equipment.Familiarity with FAA wiring procedures and AC / DC circuit principles.A&P Certification a plus, but not required.Why Join as an Avionics Technician :
