Our client, a highly automated and established manufacturing operation, is seeking a Process Automation Engineer to support plant automation, production efficiency, and equipment performance across a continuous-run environment.
Requirements
Experience with Allen-Bradley (required)Strong PLC / HMI controls skills — programming, troubleshooting, modificationsExperience in industrial or heavy manufacturing environmentsAbility to read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematicsBachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automated Manufacturing Engineering, or related fieldStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to support on-call needs for plant operationsResponsibilities
Design, develop, and implement control systems (hardware + software)Analyze and improve existing PLC / HMI logic to enhance productivity and uptimeSupport production and maintenance teams with real-time troubleshootingIntegrate automation systems with plant information and monitoring systemsMonitor KPIs and identify improvement opportunities across automated equipmentDevelop specifications, design documentation, and control architectureLead and deliver automation projects from concept through completion
