We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hand surgery to join a well-established practice in central Michigan. Position Highlights : Specialization : Focus on diagnosing, treating, and surgically repairing conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and forearm. Collaborative Team : Join a team of over 10 experienced surgeons with various subspecialties, including trauma, sports, pediatrics, hand (plastic surgery), and podiatry. Comprehensive Care : Perform a wide range of surgical procedures while providing both pre-operative and post-operative care for hand patients. On-Call Responsibilities : Participate in a general orthopedic call schedule with an average of four calls per month, ensuring quality patient care. State-of-the-Art Facilities : Work with the latest technology, including advanced surgical systems, in a physician-led environment that fosters professional development. Qualifications and Requirements : Board Certification : Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). Licensure : An active Michigan medical license is highly preferred, or candidates should be in the process of obtaining one. Fellowship Training : Completion of a fellowship in Orthopedic Surgery focusing on the upper extremities is required. Experience : A minimum of two years of work experience in Hand / Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgery is preferred.
