Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with strong ortho and robotics experience, holding a SD or compact RN license, for a circulating role on 10-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an acute care setting as an OR Circulating RN
  • Primary focus on orthopedic cases including total joints, MAKO robotics, arthroscopy, spine, foot and ankle, hand, and ORIF, with some general, ENT, GYN, and plastics cases
  • 11 OR suites and 1 GI suite with 30-50 cases per day
  • Uses MAKO robotic system and Epic EMR
  • Shift is 10-hour days with call requirements
  • No weekend or floating requirements
  • Scrubs provided in ceil blue
  • Position focuses on circulating duties for a primarily orthopedic case load with occasional general, ENT, GYN, and plastics cases
  • Exposure to advanced robotics and orthopedic procedures
  • Returning employees must not have worked for any Sanford Health location within the last 6 months
  • All clinicians must badge in and out for each shift
  • Local candidates within 80 miles may be accepted at a reduced rate
  • 8 hours of orientation provided

    • Requirements

  • Active SD or compact RN license required
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum of 3 years recent circulating RN experience in the OR
  • Strong orthopedic experience and proficiency in total joints and arthroscopy required
  • MAKO robotics experience highly preferred
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
