Senior Mechanical Engineer – Commercial and Healthcare (Hybrid / Flexible)

📍 Location : Washington, DC

📌 Schedule : Hybrid / Flexible

The Role

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer , you’ll lead the design and delivery of advanced HVAC systems for healthcare environments , ensuring safe, efficient, and resilient building performance. You’ll collaborate with top engineers, architects, and clinical planners to create spaces that support healing, precision, and comfort.

What You’ll Do

  • Design complex HVAC systems for hospitals, labs, and healthcare facilities.
  • Lead coordination with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors.
  • Mentor junior engineers while contributing to firmwide technical leadership.
  • Stay current on healthcare codes, standards, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in mechanical / HVAC design.
  • BSME or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong Revit proficiency and healthcare project experience preferred.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
