Job descriptionLate-model Cascadia tractors with automatic transmissions. Dry van trailers; freight assignments are 100% no-touch. Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. Transport dry van freight on assigned dedicated routes, adhering to schedules and delivery instructions. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects or maintenance needs promptly. Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection records, and required maintenance documentation. Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch and at customer sites. Valid CDL-A license. Prefer completion of at least 120 hours of truck driving school within the past 12 months or an equivalent program. Minimum age of 21 years. Ability to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements and to pass required drug screening. Entry-level CDL-A drivers will operate a dedicated dry van lane with consistent weekly home time. This role is intended for recent graduates of initial driver training who prefer steady, no-touch freight assignments.
Estimated annual compensation : $70,000 to $85,000 USD.
Schedule and training :
- Weekly home schedule.
- 4-6 weeks of on-road mentorship with a trainer; paid training provided during the mentorship period.
