TITLE : Packaging Operator - Second Shift

LOCATION : Alsip, IL

SHIFT & HOURS : 2nd Shift : Monday - Friday : 2 : 00 pm - 10 : 30 pm

Hiring Hourly Rate : $22.42 / Hr.

2 Year Earning Potential Based on Continuous Learning Progression Pay

• 6 Months - $23.18 / hr
• 12 Months- $23.96 / hr
• 24 Months- $24.72 / hr

Griffith Foods is hiring a Packaging Operator to join our Production Team. The Packaging Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the set-up, operation, adjustment, and clean-up of packaging equipment to contribute to the production of high-quality food products in compliance with company standards.

Qualified candidates will have :

Education and / or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand and walk to communicate and listen effectively. This will require both office and plant environments. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Safely navigate stairs and ladders

Environmental Concerns :

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions; high, precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud; hearing protection is required in designated areas. Dust and odor present in environment.
