Since 1987, the Conservation Corps of Long Beach (CCLB) has worked to help youth realize their potential while serving the Gateway Cities area. As a state-certified Corps, CCLB is positioned to offer its Corpsmembers access to a variety of environmental work experiences while also facilitating personal development opportunities. More than 12,000 youth and young adults have benefitted from our unique program, and over 1,500 have received a high school diploma while working with us. Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Project Coordinator, the Crew Supervisor III Irrigation Tech is responsible for the day-to-day direction and training of a crew of 2-14 young adults, aged 18-26 years, in a variety of work and educational activities.

Essential Responsibilities :

Corpsmember Supervision :

• Supervise, direct and coordinate new corpsmember orientation and lead or facilitate job training.
• Maintain discipline, positive crew moral, build teamwork and cooperation among crewmembers and ensure that the rules and regulations of the CCLB are upheld.
