Complete Description :
The PEGA Certified Senior Systems Architect (SSA) will evaluate existing systems, and user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement information system changes. This position requires candidates who are PEGA Certified with a minimum of 5 years working experience post-SSA certification. The PEGA SSA will work under the direct supervision of the chief of the Information Technology Office (ITO) or a designated ITO representative. The role will involve collaboration and providing technical expertise to ITO and assigned units to develop solutions that meet business and system requirements.
The PEGA SSA will be required to understand requirements thoroughly, including concepts such as rule resolution, class structure design, and reusability.
Responsibilities :
Develop and / or modify programs based on business / system requirements.
Unit test developed work to ensure functionality.
Create supportive documentation for the programs.
Participate in system testing alongside business analysts and / or users.
Write system requirements based on business requirements.
Implement a wide array of functionality, including high-quality user experiences and complex case management requirements.
Provide technical expertise to implement and automate business rules and policies.
Develop solutions that incorporate PEGA rules and procedures into business processes.
Skills and Experience :
A minimum of 5 years of experience in all phases of object-oriented software development, including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support.
At least 3 years of experience in developing solutions utilizing PEGA.
Expertise in application design, case design, data modeling, automating business rules, business policies, user experience, reporting, integration, and security.
Experience working in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Strong experience in developing solutions that integrate PEGA with customer technology tools.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.
A 4-year college degree or equivalent technical experience is required.
PEGA Senior Systems Architect Certification is required.
