American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT, BLS, ACLS, and Louisiana licensure for a dynamic hospital IR department.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit collaborating closely with the Cardiac Cath LabDay shift schedule, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, with flexibility required for earlier or later procedures as neededCall is divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend including holidaysOn call during weekends from Friday close of business through early Monday, with a 30-minute response expectationMay float between Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab as neededHospital is located in a region prone to hurricanes and emergency team participation may be required during severe weather eventsParticipation on an emergency response team and extended stay on site may be expected during hurricanes or severe weatherTeam members must be flexible and willing to assist Cardiac Cath Lab as neededFive-day hospital orientation including completion of facility modulesCandidates who have worked as permanent staff or in-house agency must have a one-year break before returning as a travelerHoliday, after-hours, and weekend call coverage requiredRTO requests must be discussed during the interview processCall and floating assignments determined by unit needs\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in Interventional RadiologyCurrent ARRT certificationBLS and ACLS certifications from AHA requiredValid or compact LA state license required; license required if applicableMust live more than 65 miles from the facilityPrevious travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered\n Benefits\n
