Job Summary :

Kreider Farms is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Milk Plant. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment, with a strong emphasis on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automated systems. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment and a working knowledge of PLC systems and industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment inspections to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems across the facility.
• Support the operation and maintenance of automated systems, including conveyor systems, filling machines, and processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and make minor modifications to PLCs and related control systems (experience with Allen-Bradley preferred).
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Collaborate with operations and other departments to ensure equipment is performing to required standards.
• Maintain proper inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with facility projects as required.
