Maintenance Director

We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Maintenance Director to join our Team!

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership & Staff Management : Recruit, train, and lead maintenance and custodial personnel, provide guidance, and evaluate staff performance to ensure a qualified and motivated team.

• Maintenance Strategy & Programs : Plan, develop, and implement proactive maintenance strategies, including preventative maintenance programs, to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
• Facility & Asset Management : Oversee the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of the organization's physical assets, buildings, and equipment, such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Compliance & Safety : Ensure all maintenance and custodial operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA requirements, and maintain a safe environment for employees and the public.
• Vendor & Contractor Management : Review and approve vendor bids, contracts, and services for parts, repairs, and installations to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Reporting & Communication : Provide regular reports on department performance, maintenance needs, and project updates to the COO.
• Problem-Solving : Apply technical expertise to identify and resolve facility and equipment issues, often requiring quick thinking and practical solutions.
• Strategic Planning : Participate in strategic planning for the organization, setting goals and objectives for the maintenance and custodial departments

Requirements :

Extensive experience in maintenance management or a similar senior role.
