As an apprentice technician, you’ll begin by learning to inspect and lubricate vehicles efficiently and thoroughly. With dedication and hard work, there’s no limit to where your skills can take you. At Fredericksburg Chevy GMC, the door is always open—and so are your opportunities.

🔧 Your Responsibilities :

Perform thorough multi-point inspections

Communicate additional service needs to service advisors and master technicians

Inspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentials, rear axle housings, and shackles

Check and adjust tire pressure

Lubricate moving parts using manufacturer-specified lubricants

Drain and refill engine oil and replace oil and air filters

Follow all company policies, safety standards, and codes of conduct

Adhere to dealership safety procedures to minimize exposure to fumes, dirt, and chemicals

✅ Qualifications :

2+ years of mechanical experience preferred

Familiarity with various automotive repair and maintenance tasks

Valid driver’s license with ability to operate manual transmissions
