Location : Bridgeton, NJ 08302 (Southern New Jersey)

Healthcare Setting : Correctional Facility

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 15, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : 8-hour night shifts (11 : 00 pm – 7 : 30 am), 2 shifts / week, every other weekend, rotating Monday & Friday

Guaranteed Hours : 16 hours / week

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1630 - $1750

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience

Corrections nursing experience preferred

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Strong clinical assessment, triage, and communication skills

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to inmate patients, promoting optimal health

Perform triage, assessment, and treatment using the nursing process

Accurately document patient care in accordance with healthcare regulations

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for continuity of care

Respond to a broad spectrum of health concerns, including minor ailments and complex medical conditions

Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff within the correctional facility
