Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and views for data analysis.
  • Collaborate with E&P business stakeholders to identify reporting needs and resolve data issues.
  • Design and implement ETL workflows using Python and REST endpoints.
  • Create and maintain dashboards in Power BI to visualize data insights.
  • Take ownership of data quality and accuracy, proactively addressing any discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Hard Skills Required :

  • Proficient in SQL; experience with Snowflake is a plus.
  • Strong skills in Python for ETL processes.
  • Expertise in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Familiarity with "Quad oB" (OOOOb) and its data requirements.

    • Soft Skills Required :

  • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to data quality issues.
  • Self-starter mentality with a willingness to take initiative and collaborate across teams.
  • Comfort in reaching out to new colleagues and fostering relationships to facilitate work.

    • Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a data analyst role, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
