Job descriptionConduct oral health assessments. Review / screen oral health conditions, including health history, oral cancer screenings, head / neck inspection, dental charting, blood pressure / pulse. Take dental radiographs and impressions, and pour models. Perform all preventative and hygiene services per California Dental Practice Act. Remove calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the dentition. Polish and contour restorations. Apply preventative materials to teeth, including sealants and fluoride. Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies (brushing, flossing, nutritional counseling). Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of California. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
