Working Title : Financial Operations Senior Associate

FLSA Status : Exempt

Posting Salary Range : $49,777 - $62,763

Office Location : Remote within North Carolina.

What We're Looking For

Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Financial Operations Senior Associate to join our team! The Financial Operations Senior Associate is responsible for financial planning and ensuring compliance with fiscal policies at all levels. As a Financial Operations Senior Associate, you'll analyze payments for contracts with vendors and providers. You will apply your accounting expertise to prepare financial reports and ensure accurate payments by interpreting contract terms.

On a typical day, you might :

  • Review expenditures to ensure that they are complete and timely.
  • Work with the Financial Operations Team on assignments, tasks, and guide the workflow.
  • Review processes and procedures to ensure they are operating effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure appropriate reporting to the State for specific programs for tracking expenditures.
  • Review, investigate, and correct errors in payables entries, documents, and reports.

  • Qualifications

    Required :

  • High School Diploma / GED and six (6) years of experience working with a health plan or other managed care entity, behavioral health services provider, or hospital entity in accounting field or financial analysis; OR
  • Associate's degree and four (4) years of experience working with a health plan or other managed care entity, behavioral health services provider, or hospital entity in accounting field or financial analysis; OR
  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience working with a health plan or other managed care entity, behavioral health services provider, or hospital entity in accounting field or financial analysis; OR
  • Equivalent combination of education / experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must reside within North Carolina.
  • Must be able to travel within catchment as required.
  • Preferred :

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, including mathematics or statistics.
  • Four (4) years of experience working in accounts payable with a health plan or other managed care entity or behavioral health services provider, or hospital entity.
