Tax Manager Tax Manager
Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee the tax department and ensure compliance with all tax regulations while minimizing tax liabilities. This position is responsible for leading tax planning strategies, coordinating audits, and managing client relationships to optimize tax outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee tax compliance and ensure adherence to IRS regulations and state tax laws.
- Conduct tax research to identify opportunities for tax savings and risk management.
- Coordinate and manage audit processes with external auditors.
- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to optimize financial performance.
- Prepare and review financial reports related to tax obligations and liabilities.
- Manage international tax compliance and planning strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations affecting the organization.
- Utilize tax software for efficient processing and reporting of tax-related information.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide strategic advice.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or a related role.Strong knowledge of corporate tax, state and local tax, and international tax regulations.Proficiency in tax software and financial reporting tools.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and client management skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle multiple projects effectively.Benefits
