What You'll Do
As a Plant Superintendent, you'll lead a team of skilled, adaptable employees in a high-performance, safety-first environment. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations and drive improvements that keep us running efficiently and successfully.
- Lead Operations : Oversee daily plant activities to ensure production goals, quality standards, and timelines are consistently met.
- Drive Results : Monitor production performance and key metrics—scrap, downtime, efficiency—and implement strategies to optimize them.
- Empower Your Team : Coach, mentor, and develop a strong team culture that supports learning, accountability, and pride in performance.
- Collaborate for Success : Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless production.
- Champion Communication : Lead team meetings, provide updates to plant management, and ensure transparency throughout operations.
- Ensure Compliance & Quality : Maintain safety and quality documentation and uphold the highest production standards.
- Solve & Improve : Identify equipment issues, waste reduction opportunities, and cost-saving ideas—and lead the charge to make things better.
- Plan for the Future : Participate in budget planning and long-term strategic improvements to keep us ahead of the curve.

Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Operations, Engineering or related field—or equivalent experience.Lean Systems training or certification preferred.Supervisory and Leadership certification and / or proven experience required.Experience
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in plastics manufacturing required.Strong background in plastic extrusion manufacturing preferred.ISO certification experience a plus.Skills
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and lean principles.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Passion for continuous improvement and team development.Your Leadership Role

This is a salaried (exempt ) role. Expect to work an average of 45 or more hours per week, as needed.Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs (rarely up to 50 lbs).Standing, walking, bending, and reaching are common physical aspects of this role.Regular, reliable attendance is essential—we count on you.Ready to grow with us?
