We Are Seeking
- Engagement in planning, design, data collection, evaluation, and analysis activities related to engineering.
- Expertise in calculations involving material and labor estimates, expenses, technical survey data, and engineering computations.
- Contribution to the development of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E), including :
- Traffic level of service and safety analyses
- Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) plans
- Communication network plans / master plans
- Concept of Operations documents
- Roadway lighting plans
- Traffic signal designs
- Traffic management and control plans
- Signage and pavement marking plans
- Potential responsibilities based on experience :
- Project management duties
- Supervision of junior staff and providing technical support
- Client interaction via various communication methods
- Participation in marketing efforts and client relationship management
- Regular CAD drafting in MicroStation
- Knowledge of desktop technologies and communications software
- Familiarity with PASSER 5, VISSIM, and CORSIM is a plus
- Experience with photometric analysis software, such as AGi32, is advantageous
- Occasional travel (less than three days per month)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering, or a related field focused on transportation engineeringProficiency in CAD MicroStation is preferredGeorgia Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within one year is preferredExperience with basic computer networking design (fiber optic, copper, and wireless) is preferredBenefits
