Senior Solutions Architect - Billing Platforms

Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect with strong expertise in building, developing, and operating billing platform technologies in enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience integrating billing platforms with enterprise financial and operational systems, ensuring scalability, compliance, and alignment with business goals.

This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams-including backend, frontend, UI / UX, financial systems, customer billing, and reporting-while leading the design and integration of a billing platform for a new product launch. The solution will leverage Zuora as the 3rd party monetization platform, requiring experience working with external vendors and partners.

As part of the solution development team, the architect will translate business and functional requirements into technical architectures and defend solution decisions with other senior architects.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale billing platform integrations.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, UI / UX, financial, and reporting teams to deliver a monetization solution.
• Define architectural standards, follow best practices, and select appropriate technologies for billing solutions.
• Partner with vendors (e.g., Zuora) and external teams to deliver seamless integrations.
• Ensure compliance with financial security standards (e.g., PCI).
• Provide hands-on guidance through the development lifecycle, including DevOps, testing, and deployment.
• Deliver clear, high-quality documentation, architecture diagrams, and presentations for stakeholders, developers, QA, and fellow architects.
